An outstanding showcase of offence from the innovator, Chris Kanyon, seemed to be almost too much for James Champagne. During the action, the referee was taken out of the action. This enticed Champagne to take advantage of the situation and gain an aid from his nunchucks, and lambasted Kanyon in the head with them. The referee, unaware of this, made the effort to get up and administer the three-count to earn James Champagne a victory over Chris Kanyon.
