BSE Boxing Match
Anton Arakis vs. Rick Lemieux
Five 3-minute rounds
Loser goes to Jail
This long awaited match up began with a bold statement from both competitors
Arakis and Lemieux both spit out their mouthpieces and decided to fight
unprotected.
The first round saw Arakis constantly clinching with his opponent throwing
very few punches, only infuriating Lemieux.
The second round began with a flurry from Lemieux and the first knockdown of
the evening
with Arakis answering the 10-count at 6 and returning a grouping of punches of
his own.
Just prior to the bell Arakis got a knockdown of his own, with Lemieux on his
feet well before the count of 10.
Round three yielded what nearly everyone expected, with Flesh and Vlad in
Arakis' corner,
the R.O.P's got involved, tripping up Lemieux while the referee was
distracted.
Arakis gained a quick knockdown on Lemieux before the round ended.
Round four had an explosive start, Lemieux had his second wind and really laid
into Arakis,
scoring a knockdown that nearly kept Anton down for the whole ten-count. Much
more clinching from Arakis
ended the round.
Fifth and Final Round. Arakis and Lemieux traded punches, with lefts and
rights landing on each competitors
sweat soaked and exhausted faces, and a knockdown for each competitor, each
answering the 10 count showing they would
not quit. Until in the dying seconds of the round, with Arakis feigning a knee
injury, Flesh climbed onto
the apron and struck Lemieux on the back of the head with the ring bell,
giving Arakis the
opening he needed to land the knockout blow to his opponent.
With his bell rung, so-to-speak, Lemieux could not answer the referees count,
thus declaring Arakis the victor.
With the loss, Rick Lemieux, as per the stipulation set up earlier in the night
for this match,
spent the night in a Timmins jail cell.

Kobra Kai vs Cody 45
Cody 45 via pinfall after reversing a school-boy pin from Kobra Kai while the referee was distracted.
Anton Arakis and Jake O’reilly vs bang bang Pete & Big Brian Youngblood
Jake O’rielly scored a pinfall on Youngblood following a low-blow from Anton Arakis
Following the match, Arakis took notice of one of Timmins' Finest sitting ringside, in Rick Lemieux. Arakis sized the opportunity to throw a bottle of water on the out of uniform officer and that sparked a chase around the ringside area, and through to the back. Rick Lemieux and Anton Arakis are scheduled to square off in the ring on Friday May 9th in Timmins, Ontario.
This altercation only fuels the animosity that has been brewing between Arakis and Lemieux, who has arrested Anton Arakis on 3 separate occasions in Timmins.
Otis Idol vs. El Sombra
Idol via pinfall following a Tiger Driver
James Champagne vs. Xtremo
Champagne Driver sealed the fate for Xtremo as the Vanilla Killa got the three-count.
Akira Raijin vs. Cody Deaner
Cody Deaner wins via pinfall after a diving headbutt from the top rope with the assist of his
mullet.
No Disqualification Tag Team Match
(Non-Title)
The Blackouts (c) vs. T'N'T
Tyson Dux and El Tornado wasted little time in getting their hands on the BSE Tag Team Champions
and gained the upper hand in the match. T’N’T took full advantage of the no-disqualification rule, and proceeded to
administer a beating to the team that took their tag titles from them on February 9th in Milton, Ontario. With Vane
incapacitated, and lying prone on a table outside the ring, El Tornado took to the top rope and landed a frog-splash onto on half of the tag title holder. Tyson Dux, meanwhile,
mounted offence on the battered Pierre Shadows in the ring. El Tornado returned to the ring in time to hit the guillotine leg drop on Shadows for the pinfall by Tyson Dux.
Blood Sweat and Ears' next event will be on Friday May 9th in Timmins Ontario, and Saturday May 10th in Iroquois Falls, Ontario at the Jus Jordan Arena.

The Hardball Café - Milton, Ontario Canada
BSE held our second event in less than a week on February 9th at The Hardball Café in Milton, Ontario and the place was electric as we featured the main event BSE fans have been waiting for. After being cancelled on February 25, 2007 due to weather, BSE finally delivered 'The Samoan Submission Machine' Samoa Joe vs 'The Fallen Angel' Christopher Daniels, a year in the making. The much anticipated main event capped off an afternoon of great matches, including the crowning of new BSE tag-team champions.
Sebastian Suave vs Scottie The Body vs Brent B. vs Tiger Star vs El Sombra vs Johnny J. vs Jason Virtue vs Bang-Bang Pete
The preliminary bout was a Crazy Eight Match in which the first competitor to score a pinfall or submission gains the victory. The match was wild and fast-paced as all eight participants tagged in and out quickly and put on quite a display for the live crowd. After the others began battling on the outside, Tiger Star stunned Brent B. with a beautiful tilt-a-whirl backbreaker in the middle of the ring. Bang-Bang Pete then quickly hit Tiger with a top rope bulldog on top of Brent and pinned him for the win. "It was a hard-fought victory," said Pete after the match. "The underdog pulled it off."
Anton Arakis vs Angel De Guerra
The unforgiving fans jeered and taunted the ample-bellied Arakis the entire match, which only seemed to motivate him to take it out on his opponent. The battle between the two California natives eventually spilled out onto the floor where Angel gained the upper hand. He got Arakis back into the ring and hit him with a top rope flip for the win.
The Reflections Of Perfection vs Assault and Battery
This tough tag match began with Mike Alias getting the better of Vlad the Penetrator with chops, arm drags and hip tosses before the 299-pounder finally tagged in Flesh. The muscle-bound Flesh turned the tide on Alias, hitting him with numerous power moves and preventing him from making a tag. Alias was finally able to crawl to the corner and tag in the anxious Bat Martinez, who was a house of fire hitting clotheslines and dropkicks on both Vlad and Flesh as the crowd erupted. The Reflections of Perfection eventually threw Alias onto the floor and double-teamed Martinez to score the victory after a combination sidewalk slam/second rope guillotine.
Hayley Rogers vs "Au Naturelle" Kelly Couture
BSE's resident diva "Au Naturelle" Kelly Couture went toe-to-toe with Hayley Rogers, who gave the Torontonian all she could handle during the match. The crowd was loudly behind Couture as she hit Rogers with the Kelly Cutter for the one-two-three. After the match, the sexy Kelly rewarded the crowd for their loyalty with a little tease, stripping down to her bra to a chorus of cheers and whistles. "That was a tough match," said Kelly afterwards. "But they got me through it."
Cody 45 vs Kris Chambers
This duel of fan-favourites split the crowd as Cody 45's return to BSE had the fans buzzing. The two shook hands before the match and proceeded to have a very fast-paced athletic match-up filled with beautiful exchanges and reversals. At one point, Cody hit a quick cutter on Chambers who recovered quickly to hit Cody with a superkick as the crowd continued to cheer both men. Chambers slowly rose up, picked up Cody's legs and attempted to lock on the sharpshooter, but Cody quickly countered with a small package for the pin. The two once again showed each other respect as they shook hands and embraced before leaving to the fans' applause. "It was a hard-fought victory," said an exhausted Cody 45. "We gave everything we had and I look forward to a rematch."
Ash vs James Champagne vs Franky The Mobster
This triple threat match began with Champagne and Franky trading verbal insults as Ash waited outside the ring, impatient and unimpressed. The crowd laughed and cheered as Franky's remarks got the better of the 'Vanilla Killa' who threw down the microphone in frustration as Ash climbed into the ring and blind-sided Franky. Ash and Champagne then joined forces to beat down the current BSE Suicide Six-Pack Champion. Franky had numerous short-lived comebacks before finally throwing Ash over the top rope and hitting Champagne with a thunderous sit-down power bomb for the victory. "Hopefully one day I'll get to wrestle a man in BSE," said the confident champion. "I feel like a pedophile." Ash shared a different opinion. "Franky got lucky," said the 3-time Adrenaline Cup winner. "He won't pin me."
BSE TAG-TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
T'N'T [c] vs The Blackouts
T'N'T, Tyson Dux and El Tornado put their tag-team titles on the line in Milton against the Blackouts, Vane and Pierre Shadows. The Blackouts took control early, highlighted by sit-down power bomb by Shadows after catching Tornado jumping at him from the second rope. T'N'T then successfully distracted the referee and gained the advantage on Shadows, double-teaming him and working on his leg as a frustrated Vane looked on from his corner. Vane then took justice into his own hands, storming the ring to save his partner. The referee lost control of the match as the war continued outside the ring and through the crowd. When the action returned to the ring, Dux hit Vane with his signature brainbuster and the fans thought it was all but over. Tornado then climbed to the top rope and went for a frog splash but Vane moved out of the way, causing Tornado crash violently to the mat. Vane then lifted Tornado up onto his shoulders as Shadows threw Dux out of the ring, climbed to the top rope and hit Tornado with the Doomsday Device. Vane quickly covered Tornado for the pin, giving the Blackouts their first ever BSE tag-team championship. "The Blackouts have made their mark in BSE," said an excited Vane. "After three years, the hard work paid off." After the match, the Reflections of Perfection spoiled the celebration by announcing their desire to be the new number-one contenders for the tag-team titles.
Christopher Daniels vs Samoa Joe
It was finally time for the match one year in the making as 'The Fallen Angel' took on 'The Samoan Submission Machine' in the main event. The fans were excitedly anxious as the former TNA champions made their entrance to the ring. Joe dominated the match early, fueled by chants of "Joe, Joe, Joe!" by the loud Milton crowd. Everyone was on the edge of their seats as Joe pounded Daniels with power moves, kicks and elbows. Daniels was finally able to gain the advantage by working on Joe's left arm. The comeback was futile however as Joe was able to counter and lift Daniels onto the top rope. Joe then picked Daniels up on his shoulders, setting him up for the muscle-buster, but Daniels slipped out of his grasp and attempted a suplex. Joe countered that and locked in the rear naked choke. The crowd stood up and cheered as Daniels tapped out, giving the big Samoan the victory in his BSE debut. The two stars then shook hands in a show of mutual respect, sending the fans home happy and satisfied. "The BSE fans were obviously behind me," said a tired Joe. "Daniels is a good wrestler, but he can't beat the Samoan Submission Machine." When asked about his thoughts on the match, Daniels' one-word response said it all. "Ow."

Raxx Entertainment Complex - Brampton, Ontario Canada
BSE held their first live event of 2008 on February 3rd at Raxx Entertainment Complex in Brampton, Ontario and if this show was a sign of things to come for BSE, we're in for an exciting year. The fans were energetic and loud and the wrestlers put on some great performances, highlighted by the main event featuring three of the TNA Knockouts.
Sebastian Suave vs Scottie The Body
In the opening bout, Sebastian Suave and Scottie The Body got the fans hyped up with a solid back and forth match-up. The arrogant Suave taunted the crowd throughout the match and picked up the victory after spraying cologne in Scottie's eyes while the referee's back was turned. Suave slammed the blinded Scottie to the mat and pinned him.
Assault and Battery vs the All-Starters
In a fast-paced tag-team match up, the fan-favourite All-Starters went toe-to-toe with Assault and Battery, who picked up the victory with a combination airplane spin and kick to the head of Johnny J. J's partner Brent B. was disappointed with the result, but vowed revenge in the future. "We fell short tonight," said Brent. "But Assault and Battery will feel the wrath of the All-Starters!"
El Sombra vs Tiger Star
This wild lucha-style contest between El Sombra and Tiger Star whipped the crowd into a frenzy with athletic arm drags, hip tosses and aerial maneuvers. Tiger Star wowed the crowd with a dazzling over-the-top-rope suicide plancha to the floor, knocking Sombra senseless. Tiger thought he had the win after a fireman's carry into a cutter move, but a resilient Sombra kicked out and eventually picked up the one-two-three after a devastating modified pump-handle power bomb. "Sombra's a great competitor," said Tiger Star, showing great respect for his opponent. "We'll do it again, just name the place and time and I'll be there for sure."
Big Brian Youngblood vs Johnny Slam
Crowd favourite Big Brian Youngblood defeated newcomer Johnny Slam who was making his BSE debut. The cocky Slam challenged Big Brian to slam match, where the first person to body slam his opponent wins the match. After many failed attempts at slamming Big Brian, Johnny climbed to the second rope and attempted a cross-body block, but the powerful Brian caught him and promptly powerslammed him for the win. "Slam thought he could get me up there, but there's no chance he will put me on my back," said Big Brian. After the match, Slam blindsided Big Brian and finally slammed him, but the assault was short-lived as Brian recovered and gave Johnny a thunderous big boot, sending him flying over the top rope. "Brian cheated," said a disgruntled Johnny Slam. "I slipped and he grabbed me by the tights and that's why he slammed me."
Tyson Dux vs Vane
The next match saw one half of the BSE tag-team champions, Tyson Dux, take on the massive Vane, one half the Blackouts. This was a very hard-fought battle with the momentum switching back and forth several times before Dux hit Vane with a belly-to-back suplex, followed by a side suplex. Dux then picked up the dazed Vane and hit him with a crushing brainbuster for the victory.
Ash vs Xtremo
The now Three-Time Adrenaline Cup Winner Ash viciously attacked fan-favourite Xtremo before the opening bell and quickly began his assault. Although Ash got the upper hand early, Xtremo rebounded and hit the former BSE Suicide Six-Pack champion with dazzling aerial moves and even battled him on the floor through the lively crowd. The referee was knocked unconscious when Ash hit him with a missile dropkick after Xtremo ducked out of the way. With the referee down and out, Xtremo hit Ash with his signature 450 splash, but only the boisterous crowd counted to three. As Xtremo was reviving the referee, Ash hit him with his gold chain, knocking him out and pinning him as the groggy referee counted the one-two-three. "I'm very disappointed," said a still dazed Xtremo. "I gave him the 450, the ref wasn't there to count it, and he hit me with his chain."
"Au Naturelle" Kelly Couture vs Traci Brooks vs Gail Kim vs Christy Hemme
The evening's main event was a four-corners match featuring BSE's "Au Naturelle" Kelly Couture and three TNA Knockouts: Traci Brooks, Toronto's own Gail Kim and former Playboy Playmate Christy Hemme, making her BSE debut. Brooks taunted the crowd the entire match, but Kelly and Christy soon joined forces and put the busty brunette in her place. After a big body slam, Christy hit Brooks with her signature split leg drop for the victory. After the match, Kelly and Christy celebrated in the ring with special referee Bang-Bang Pete before Christy skipped out into the crowd and danced with the fans, sending everyone home very happy. "I love BSE," said Christy after the match. "They take care of the wrestlers, the fans are energetic and I would do it again anytime."
BSE's first show of 2008 went off without a hitch and the pre-SuperBowl event was a huge success. BSE next hits the Hardball Café in Milton this Saturday, February 9th at 2p.m. with a great card featuring an unbelievable main event. After having it cancelled last February due to a massive snowstorm, BSE has finally re-booked "The Samoan Submission Machine" Samoa Joe versus "The Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels this Saturday in Milton, the match a year in the making! Come out to the Hardball Café and watch the two TNA stars tears the house down.

Friday January 18th & Saturday January 19th 2008
Arctic Winter Games Arena- Iqaluit, Nunavut Canada
Sub-zero temperatures of -35 and even lower were no match for the action inside the Artcic Winter Games Arena in Iqaluit, Nunavut. BSE's most Northern show to date. From bell to bell, the fans were on the edge of their seats or on their feet, cheering their favourites, and booing the unsavoury. A truly electric event (even when the power went out) for Blood Sweat and Ears' first, and certainly not the last, trip to Iqaluit.
Friday Jan 18th
Xtremo vs. Mike Alias
Winner: Xtremo
El Sombra vs. TigerStar
Winner: El Sombra
Sebastian Suave vs. Big Brian Youngblood
Winner: Big Brian Youngblood
Pierre Shadows w/Mr. Black vs. Angel de Guerra
Winner: Angel de Guerra
After the match, Mr. Black and Pierre Shadows attacked de Guerra which prompted his tag team partner, El Sombra to come to his aid. The Revo-Luchas challenged the Blackouts to a match at the next show.
'Textbook' Tyson Dux vs. Brent B.
Tyson Dux demanded silence, and wanted the crowd to show him the respect he deserved. But the fans saw right through the arrogance, and Dux was met with a chorus of boo's. Brent B. entered to an ear piercing ovation from the fans and it was sustained until Dux got the upper hand in the match. Tyson ultimately got the pinfall after the referee was dazed and Dux was able to sneak one in on Brent B for the pinfall. After the match, Brent B. demanded a rematch with Dux, feeling he deserved a fair shot against him.
Robert Roode & Traci Brooks vs. 'Au Naturelle' Kelly Couture & Rhino
Fans were on their feet for the main event, and eagerly anticipated the TNA Stars to make their entrance. Traci Brooks and Robert Roode were met with mixed reactions from the fans, but all turned to boo's as Roode & Brooks shunned the audience. 'Au Naturelle' Kelly Couture & Rhino were met with cheers and excitement, as the fan favourites made their way to the ring. Throughout the Match, Roode and Ms. Brooks tried to gain the upper hand with underhanded tactics. Distracting the referee, or trying to use chairs and the like. While Rhino had Roode set up for a gore, Ms. Brooks stepped in the way of the War Machine, but was met by Kelly Couture with a gore of her own. The two women fought out to the ringside, as Rhino moved in on Roode. With the referee out of position, Roode took the opportunity to take down Rhino and use his feet to add leverage to the pin. Robert Roode & Ms. Brooks were awarded the victory. This didn't sit well with fans, who ripped up and threw their autographed pictures of Roode & Brooks, or their oppoents in the ring. Kelly Couture challenged Traci Brooks to a match one-on-one the next night, with no Rhino in her corner and no Robert Roode in Traci's. Rhino had some more extreme measures to add to his challenge. He wanted Roode in that ring, no-holds-barred hardcore match. Roode accepted, and the fans roared with excitement to see Rhino get a chance at redemption.
